About this venue
The City’s parks and reserves can be hired for social or corporate events and functions including weddings, charity walks and fun runs. With more than 50 sites around the City, there is a space to suit all occasions from small get-togethers to large-scale functions. The fees and charges schedule at the bottom of this page will give you an indicative hire cost. The cost of hire will be calculated once you have entered your requirements in the booking system. Please note that four weeks notice is required for all bookings and large functions may require six weeks notice . Sporting (active) reserves are booked seasonally in two seasons; winter from April to September; and summer from October to March. You can check availability of these parks using the links below. Please contact the City's booking office if you would like to make a booking for a sporting reserve.
